
The Overseas Scholarship Scheme
(OSS) was established in 2001 by
the
Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF),
which is a branch of the Nigerian Government's Ministry
of
Petroleum Resources.
Developed and managed by Univation
Ltd, the commercial arm of The Robert Gordon University in
Aberdeen, the purpose of the OSS is to award scholarships to top Nigerian
Graduates to travel overseas in order to study postgraduate
courses in areas relevant to the Oil, Gas and Solid Minerals
industry.
Univation, on behalf of
the
PTDF, has forged links with the top UK
universities in this field, thereby allowing the OSS
scholars the best opportunities for their learning
